Reviewer should first create an account at our Conference System.
(check the box "Reviewer" under header "Create account as")

If you already have an account for ITI Conference from previous year, you need to activate it for the current year as follows:

  • On Conference System login page click on the text  ">> Not a user? Create an account with this site"
  • Select ITI 2012 conference to create an account with
  • Click on the link in the second sentence: "Click here if you already have an account with this or another conference on this site."
  • Enter your existing username and password to create an account
  • Click on "Create" at the bottom.

The Review process is divided into four steps.
(If the Track Director has already indicated that the Reviewer will do the review, you can start with 2.)

  1. The Reviewer must inform the Track Director whether he/she will undertake the review. Once the Reviewer responds, it is recorded under Review Schedule.

    If unable to do the review, click on the email icon by "Unable to do the review", which leads to a prepared email to the Track Director (email can be edited by the Reviewer).

    If able to do the review, click on the email icon by "Will do the review", which leads to a prepared email to the Track Director. (email will indicate to the Track Director and Author that the review is underway.).

  2. Review of all submitted materials. The Reviewer will be able to download and view all presentation files, and supplementary files.

  3. The Reviewer clicks on the Review icon and is presented with two text boxes where the review can be either typed or pasted. The Reviewer can press the "Save" button at the bottom of the form to return and make changes later.

    First box is for both Author and Track Director.
    Second box is for the Track Director only.

    (The Review process is completed when a Recommendation is chosen. The Review is then closed and no further changes can be made.)

    Optional: The Reviewer can also upload a file for the Track Director and/or the Author (e.g. a Reviewer-annotated version of the submission).

  4. Selecting a Recommendation from the dropdown menu: Accept Submission as is; Accept Submission with minor changes; Submission to undergo a major revision; or Reject Submission.

    When the Reviewer clicks the Submit Review to Director button, they then have to fill out a prepared email for the Track Director (email can be edited by the Reviewer).
    Once submitted, it is recorded under Review Submitted of Review Schedule.

    The Reviewer will not be able to click the Submit Review button until a review has been entered or a file has been uploaded.
    Once the Reviewer has made a Recommendation, the review is closed and no further changes can be made.

Please remember to enter a Recommendation to finish the review!
