INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS


PAPERS

  • Papers should be written in English.
  • A paper should not exceed six printed pages.
  • Camera-ready papers should be prepared according to Instructions to authors that are available here in a raw text file (instruct.txt), a Word file (instruct.doc), a PDF file (instruct.pdf), and a Postscript file (instruct.ps). Instructions are derived from those provided by the IEEE Computer Society Press (with their permission).
  • Files instruct.doc, instruct.pdf, and instruct.ps serves also as a sample of the paper layout that is requested.
  • Be sure to respect defined margins.
  • A format sheet with the margins and placement guides is available as a Word file, a PDF file and a Postscript file.
  • A paper should be submitted both electronically and in hard-copy within the deadlines.
  • Electronic submission is done in PDF or Postscript format only.
  • Hard copy of the full paper, identical to the electronic version and printed on a laser printer, should be sent to the ITI Conference secretariat
  • Contributed papers will be reviewed by two independent referees.
  • At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register.
  • Invited papers, and accepted contributed papers will be published in the ITI Conference Proceedings (ISSN 1330-1012), and distributed during the Conference.
  • Proceedings is included in the IEEE Book Broker Program both as a book (ISBN 953-96769-6-7, IEEE Catalog Number 03EX645) and on CD-ROM (ISBN 953-96769-7-5, IEEE Catalog Number: 03EX645C), and abstracted in the INSPEC database.
  • The best papers presented at the Conference will be considered for publishing in the international journals: Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (IMACS Journal), CIT - Journal of Computing and Information Technology, and INFORMATICA.
POSTER ABSTRACTS

  • Poster abstracts should be written in English.
  • An abstract should not exceed two printed pages.
  • Camera-ready poster abstracts should be prepared according to the adequate sections in Instructions to authors (instruct.doc, instruct.pdf, or instruct.ps) for the contributed papers.
  • Files instruct.doc, instruct.pdf, or instruct.ps serves also as a sample of the poster abstract layout that is requested.
  • Be sure to respect defined margins.
  • A format sheet with the margins and placement guides is available as a Word file, a PDF file and a Postscript file.
  • A paper should be submitted both electronically and in hard-copy within the deadlines.
  • Electronic submission is done in PDF or Postscript format only
  • Hard copy of the full paper, identical to the electronic version and printed on a laser printer, should be sent to the ITI Conference secretariat
  • Poster abstracts will be reviewed by Proceedings editors.
  • At least one author of each accepted poster abstract is required to register.
  • Accepted poster abstracts will be published in the adjunct Poster Abstracts booklet.
  • Poster Abstracts booklet will be distributed during the Conference.

    Poster abstract should be arranged in the following order:


1. Title (centered)
2. Author(s) (centered),
3. Author affiliation(s) with full address(es) (centered),
4. e-mail address(es) (centered)
5. The text (arranged in two spaced columns)
6. Key words
7. References


IMPORTANT (margins)

  • If paper size is A4: 21x29.7 cm (8.3x11.7"), margins around the text are 2.5 cm (1");
  • If paper size is Letter: 21.6x27.9 cm (8.5x11") margins around the text are: left and right 2.8 cm (1.1"), and top and bottom 1.6 cm (0.63").

Depending on paper size, be sure to respect defined margins for both papers and poster abstracts.
